Step 1 – Membership Application Form
Each applicant must start by completing and submitting the Membership Application Form. The application requires contact and employment details and an executive summary of the applicant’s business idea.

Step 2 – Simplified Business Form
YBS will consider the feasibility of the applicant’s business idea based on the submitted executive summary in the application form (Annex A) and contact him/her within one week for a business presentation before he/she proceeds to fill up a detailed business plan.
The Simplified Business Membership (Annex B) is for candidates who wish to join the YBS network to seek mentorship support.
Once the applicant has gone through the business presentation, the simplified business plan will be sent if mentorship support is requested. The applicant will have to fill up the simplified business plan and submit the ACRA business profile. Please complete the necessary documents and email to them ybs@youthbizsg.org. Step 3 – Assessment Committee
Once YBS has received the business plan and assessed its feasibility, we will send the applicant’s business plan and application form to our selection panel. The assessment committee may request for a second round of business presentation. The assessment committee will:
- Assess the strengths of the applicant’s business plan and financial projects;
- Assess the amount of loan to be given and/or mentorship for the applicants.
The decision will be made within 3 months from the day of submission of documents to the selection panel and the applicant will be notified by emails or phone calls regarding the outcome of his/her application.
Upon successful application, you will become a YBS entrepreneur, receive up to $30,000 business loan and/or be entitled to mentoring, networking opportunities from YBS and pro-bono legal assistance. Successful applicants will be required to sign a commitment letter with YBS and abide by all Terms & Conditions as declared personally in the application form.
