πŸ“– POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and organized intern to play a vital role in creating our 25th Anniversary commemorative book. This is a unique opportunity to delve into our organisation’s rich history, documenting a quarter-century of community impact.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling, helping us transform 25 years of archives into a beautifully structured publication.

πŸš€ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Archiving & Digitisation:

  • Systematically comb through 25 years of media clippings, event photographs, and archival materials.

  • Digitise all physical documents and hard-copy photos into high-quality digital formats.

  • Organise and label all assets in a clear chronological sequence ready for the publisher.

Content Analysis & Summarisation:

  • Analyse media clippings and historical records to extract key findings and defining milestones.

  • Summarise lengthy text into simple, punchy bullet points and capture all crucial dates.

Content Structure:

  • Develop a comprehensive, logical table of contents to map out the book’s narrative arc.

πŸŽ“ REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in History, Library Science, Media Studies, Communications, English Literature, or a related field.

  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Strong reading comprehension and the ability to synthesise large volumes of information into clear, concise summaries.

  • Proficient with basic digital scanning tools and file management (Microsoft Office/Google Workspace).

  • A self-starter who enjoys independent research and project-based work.
