Love, love. What is love?

Is it a gift from the heavens above?

Is love a feeling, a state of utmost bliss?

Or is just a romantic notion that one might dismiss?

Now let me tell you what love is

It is something you can do, show, and even give!

So why don’t you love someone today

In your very own special way

Whether friend, relative, or someone you know

Or the person you met just a few days ago

Love that person in a tangible way

And you never know, it might brighten up their day!

Let us extend our love to the community too

By caring for and being kind to those who are new

Not forgetting the needy and lonely

May we never let them feel that they’re to be neglected only

Let’s reach out and show compassion this Valentine’s Day

By loving, understanding, and helping in any way

We can inspire those around us to do the same too

By being someone who is brave, kind and true
